CBC's Fifth Estate has made a good documentary on the Bangladesh garment industry called "Made in Bangladesh". It takes a look at how moving towards 'fast fashion' in the last ten years has created the prefect environment for workplace disasters.

I really enjoyed watching this episode, so I thought I would share it. I now feel like I better understand how clothing goes from designer and eventually to our closets. Also, you can see how large corporations, like Walmart, can claim they have no knowledge of how their clothes are made, so they can attempt to absolve themselves from blame.
